What is a website conversion rate?

A website conversion rate is a simple formula measuring the number of people that contact your company (or buy something from your ecommerce store) after visiting your website. If 100 people visit your website and one of them contact you then your website conversion rate is 1% – if two people contact you then your conversion rate is 2%.

Why is your website conversion rate so important?

Increasing your website conversion rate is the fastest and easiest way to increase your revenue and profitability.
